The clubrooms now has a 'new' HF wire antenna after the last one failed. Additionally a new UHF yagi facing south for HF linking for search and rescue.
The clubrooms now has a 'new' HF wire antenna after the last one failed. Additionally a new UHF yagi facing south for HF linking for search and rescue.
The clubrooms shack is now running off 12V DC using 2 x 150AH Lead Acid Batteries and a small solar system to keep it topped up.
Successful day today. WSPR antenna back up - new SS rope Equipment rack swapped 7125 Rx antenna fixed - faulty RG213 tail at top of mast Hut cleaned Installed another climbing peg More tasks and touches to go. We have had one of the power supply's fail and the batteries are not happy, so we may experience some issues. A fixing trip is planned for Saturday.
